Why we take a deposit
Your damage deposit helps cover the cost of:
• Repairing or replacing anything damaged or missing during your stay
• Extra cleaning beyond normal use
• Charges for late checkout, lost keys, or other breaches of booking terms
We don’t expect to use it — most guests get their full deposit back.
How it works
• You pay £75 before arrival
• We hold it securely
• Within 1 working days after you leave, we check the property • If everything’s fine, you get 100% back within 7 working days of check out
• If we need to deduct anything, we’ll send you a clear breakdown with evidence (photos/receipts)
When deductions may apply
Examples include:
• Broken or missing items
• Extra cleaning due to spills, stains, or excessive mess
• Unauthorised pets or smoking
• Lost keys or property damage
